Yes and no. He is a capable cricketer and is a very good player of pace, and good at playing short pitched bowling unlike some other Indian batsman. He struggles against spin though as exposed by Rangana Herath in the December Test series.
I just want to see India use him effectively. Yuvraj to put it bluntly is a 'controlled slogger' and they should use him for that. Maybe switch players like VVS and Yuvraj etc. His left arm spin is sometimes very useful, especially on dry slow pitches in the subcontinent.
His fielding has dipped though since his fitness problems. Sometimes I wonder why he is in our team, when there are better players like Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli who are younger and probably a bit more talented. Yuvraj sometimes, scores like this.
6,3,4, then OUT. You don't want a player in test cricket to do this. He's a very good player but maybe he should focus on weaknesses then he will become a better player.
BTW, to all people who think his 'partying' is the cause of his bad form, think again, you weren't saying things when he scored six 6's against england were you? (this isn't directed at you pansie).
I can say he got talent but sometimes he got a attitude problem! He give up matches. As a star kings 11 player he haven't showed much this year in IPL!
So I think he lost his touch a bit! I think he better stay as a 2020 and 50 over player not test! :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
