Issue of password popup for an external mail account still not solved as claimed by Yahoo engineering team?

I'm sorry I can't help you but I can let you know you're not alone. I haven't touched my options for the longest time and have been retrieving external mail through Yahoo mail for years too. My passwords for external accounts should work as they did a few days ago.

I have gone through things like this before with Yahoo external mail and I refuse to keep trying to go in there and enter the passwords over and over, they ARE correct! Every once in a while it just goes NUTS on me. There were a few times where it refused to take my messages off their original servers and I would have hundreds and hundreds of junk mails to go through.

From those times of frustration I've finally learned to let it go and wait until it fixes itself. Fortunately I can gather those external emails in other ways and will do so till then. I hope you can do the same!

I am now experiencing this problem myself. Yoo-hoo, Yahoo! We need some help over here!

Although I am sure of my external e-mail and that the password is correct (and was never changed for any reason) now whenever I check my e-mail I get this error message: It looks like there might be something wrong with the password settings of the external account [email protected]. Please check your password for this account in Settings and try again. I open the settings menu and set it, nothing happens, and it is not saved when I check it again the next time.

Looks like Yahoo is erasing the password for some reason.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
