He was bald. He shaved his head to make the movie 'The King and I' with Debera Kerr and he was so flooded with mail from women, he remained bald for the rest of his acting career I was a volunteer victim's advocate for battered women for many years and I am very cautious about strange men and I am not quickly attracted. But I once walked into the men's department at Macy's to see a stone bald man, and just like Yul Brunner he was a knock out in charismatic and dynamic energy that just poured out of that man.
