Italian jury finds Amanda Knox guilty of murdering British roommate?

I think she was innocent, her original conviction was a travesty, and am glad she has finally been acquitted. 1. It was not a confession.

She was asked by the Italian police to describe what she thinks would have happened IF she had been there. This is a standard interrogation technique but it did not translate into a confession. She NEVER claimed she did it.

2. She always stated she had been at her boyfriend's house. 3.

I am not familiar with this. What I am familiar with is that there was not a shred of forensic evidence that tied her to the crime scene. The only forensic evidence came from the third person who was convicted of this murder - and who was a career criminal who received a significantly reduced sentence by virtue of him implicating Knox and her boyfriend.

4. Have you ever been subjected to a custodial interrogation? Particularly one in a foreign country without the legal protections provided in the USA?

Custodial interrogations are inherently coercive in nature - and there have been hundreds of examples just in the USA of suspects confessing to crimes and having later evidence confirm they were completely innocent. 5. "Covered" in blood is a bit of an exaggeration.

You make it sound as though the bathroom was a slaughter house. It wasn't. There was some blood in the bathroom.

If I went into my bathroom to take a shower and saw spots and smears I wouldn't automatically assume it was blood.

She has lied from day one and her lies got caught out every time, which is kinda of embarrassing for all concerned. The only reason she is not rotting in jail is her American Passport and the stupidity of the Italian police. If she was Albanian or Romanian she would sit in jail until she decided to tell the truth about what happened that night, no matter how strange or unpleasant the true events were.

I am not sure what she did, but she was involved due to the volume of lies she spun. However, America can now sleep soundly knowing another criminal who has the ability to cry in court has returned home safely..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
