I think Janeane Garofalo stopped being a comedian back in the late 90's by becoming more political. Over the years he has become less funny. Now she just seems angry about life in general.
This obviously comes out in the comments about her disappointment with the Obama administration. That being said I have to laugh a little that her perceived hero (Obama) ended up adapting all of Bush's strategies when it comes to Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm sure that's why she is disillusioned with him now.
I think she need to got back to her roots and work on her stand-up, "I mean what's the deal with airplane food anyway". :>).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
