Yes it's true that they have their own Bible, it's much like the King James version, and you were told right, everywhere God is written, in their Bible reads Jehovah.
I don't know if I told you this or not in another post, but I was raised as a Jehovah's Wittness, and although I don't entirely believe in what they teach, I do believe God's name is Jehovah. I still call .
The Jehovah's witness have their own bible which is the same as the Chrisitan bible , however they put God's name Jehovah in some places in the bible. Jehovah in hebrew is Yahweh. See here eliyah.com/tetragrm.html.
Here is a copy of the Jehovah witness bible watchtower.org/e/bible/index.htm.
Also, I some parts of their bible that have changed certian verses like here at John 1:1 In the beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.

The Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the original Bible doctrines and teachings. They rather change the scripture teachings to correspond to the ideas they have invented. Using "Jehovah" in place of "God" words is purely arbitrary."Jehovah" is an attempt to make a name for God that "fills in" the missing vowels in the original Bible names for God.
The original scripture in the Hebrew language writes God as YHVH. No one knows for sure what vowels, if any, are appropriate to make the name pronouncable in English.
I suggest you purchase a copy of "The Kingdom of the Cults" In any Christian or Family or Jesus book store. (Not Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Halls, for heaven's sake! ).
This will explain in very easy detail how Jehovah's Witnesses, and other cults, vary from original Biblical doctrine.
Yes, do go to a Jehovah's Wittnesses Kingdom Hall and ask them for one of their Bibles. Then, and only then will you know the absolute truth about what they believe. (Don't worry, they don't bite).
Also, Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. For the person who stated that untruth, the definition of a cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Cults follow a human leader and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society.
Jehovah's Witnesses live and work among society; their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion, and they're not an offshoot of of some church but include people from all walks of life and from different religious backgrounds. They also look to Jesus as their Leader. It's also not a profit-making group.
While much of the doctrine of the Jehovahs Witnesses and Christian doctrine are the same, there are profound differences between the two. The most radical of which I am aware of is the belief that only 144,000 people shall be saved from damnation. While the 144,000 are mentioned in the Bible it is specifically stated that they are jewish believers in Jesus: 12,000 each from the twelve tribes of Israel.
What's more these are mentioned as arrising after the Rapture. The Bible makes no specific mention of the full number who are to be saved. There are other drastic differences but that is a key belief among the Jehovah's Witnesses. As to the name Jehovah replacing the word God or Lord this also is true.
The name YHVH is pronounced Yah Vav although it is most commonly pronounced Yah-way. The name itself is a pictogram meaning Behold the nails, Behold the hand. This is a description of Jesus' crucifixion and is first stated in Genesis!
Here's the scoop on the bible that Jehovah's Witnesses use...
The truth is, it's a really bad version of the bible.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
