King James Version Bible 2 Peter Chapter 1 2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord Romans Chapter 9 13. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God?
God forbid. 15. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
1 Peter Chapter 5 8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Zechariah Chapter 3 1. And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
There are several schools of thought on this subject. Many believe that Jesus was offering them salvation during His 3 days of death while others believe that Gods requirement for salvation before Jesus was belief in His power as creator. Either way, Gods mercy is easily attainable and readily available so that NONE have excuse.
