There are Jews who appreciate Christians and there are Jews who hate Jesus Christ. Just as there are Christians who are enemies of the Jews, so also there are those who follow Jesus Christ, and love the Jews. Listen to one man, a Jew, who loves his Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjkm6XS1... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwDWnXdy...
Let me comments on what Evangelicals think of the Jewish people / Israel. Today - it is evangelical Christians who are the biggest supporters of Israel. In my travels across the USA, I have met many who would even consider going over and joining the Israeli army if they could.
Here is the website of just one very vocal pro-Israel group of gentile believers in Jesus. And they support Israel with millions of dollars each year. My own brother-in-law (an Israeli) told me this himself – that evangelicals are our biggest supporters in Israel!
http://www.cufi.org/site/PageServer Now - this does not mean that they (Evangelicals) accept the Jewish religion. (For both logically cannot be true at the same time. Either Jesus was the Messiah or He was not.) Let me say this - I am Jewish ethnically and I do not even accept Judaism anymore.
Not to say that it is all bad, but the fact still remains that believers in Jesus (Messianic Jews or Evangelical Christians) are 100% convinced that Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) was/is the Messiah of Israel. So we cannot agree with them since they typically (though not all) do not believe He was Messiah. And after all – Jesus was Jewish!
So to answer your question - people read their Bibles and see that to Love God, you need to love Israel. Pretty Simple.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
