The only thing which I find a little strange, that you don't use contentType: 'application/json' as a $. Ajax option. In this case the received data will be converted to an object by $.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
