Jumpstart has reached over 50,000 children so far, but there are many more who need our help. How does it work?

Buy a book, join us and read Corduroy with a child in your life on October 2, 2008! One of the best things about reading is that it can take place anywhere and everywhere. Group reading events will be held at schools, libraries, various retail stores, Hyatt hotels, playgrounds, offices, and homes.

Reading for the record is not limited to large events, however, as any child and adult can participate just by sitting down to read. Read Corduroy on October 2, 2008, and be a part of a nationwide movement engaging children and adults in the shared learning experiences all children need to be successful in school and in life. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
