No! They stay on the card. What you should do after copying to your computer is FORMAT the card in the camera, NOT the computer.

Then the card is clean and the file system is reset.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
