1 You don't steam hardwood floors! It makes the wood expand and warp.
2 I wanted to use one on mine to get some buildup off of something I used on them. My wood floor guy said absolutely do NOT even if they are sealed. So, I didn't.
"Steam" cleaning uses the fluidity of water as a solvent to loosen soil, etc. and facilitate its removal. The heat helps in this respect, but the primary factor in steam cleaning is the use of water as a solvent. The heat merely makes the water yet more soluble.
Thus, certain things do well with steam cleaning (fabrics such as carpets are one example). But one can not use that technology on things that react poorly to water (wood is one example).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
