RIVERFEST CINCINNATI Only the best one day festival with a 30+ minute Rozzi Firework display, coordinated to music on the Ohio river. Waterfalls from the bridges, a half million people watching, all going oooo,aaaa...arriving already along the river boats are moored waiting. People have blankets and tape on the flood walls in Newport and Covington.

Don't forget the Rubber Duck Regatta...and lot's of fun in the sun on both sides of the river. We're going out with a "bang" we hope, anyway! September 1st is the first day of hunting season here, so no parties and picnics for us! The dogs go in the crates, "Bird Gun" goes in the truck, and we head out to the gamelands.

He hunts, and I bring along a stadium blanket and several books and my trusty water bottle. I get to keep the dogs from getting too wound up while my spouse hunts. With luck, he’ll have several "bangs!" and I’ll have the makings of a lovely dinner.

With my daughter off at college several states away (taking her to the airport last Saturday AM REALLY felt like the end of summer to me) and my son living on his own, now, holidays are usually pretty low key. Labor Day Most likely, it'll be a whimper. Must go to visit mother-in-law who had an accident about a month ago. She's living with hubby's sister.

She should be back from rehab and hopefully moving around much better. Have some work to do in the yard. Big thing would be grilling out as the weather's nice.

Hoping our 2 grown sons will come over to eat? We had to go away last weekend for a business meeting in another state, so it'll be nice to stay home for most of the weekend and just putz around. I'll probably hop on lawn tractor and cut the grass so hubby can get the parts I don't do...hills and things I can't get around with the tractor.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
