Ladies, which do you spend more money on in a year, handbags or shoes? And what is your favorite brand?

On both handbags and shoes every year. I always say that if I had children, I wouldn’t have shoes and bags. Besides books and CDs, my expendable income is spent on clothes, shoes and bags.

Boy, I sound selfish, don’t I? Honestly, it’s like my entertainment. I would have to say that I spend more on shoes than on handbags, though.

Shoes do eventually wear out and have to be replaced and I have yet to REALLY wear out a bag. Most of my handbags end up at Goodwill when I get totally tired of them. Right now, I have about 150 pairs of shoes in my closets.

I have a whole closet that contains only shoes. I have probably 50 or so bags.My favorite brands of shoes are Born, J. Jill, Via Spiga, Bandolino, Kenneth Cole and Pazzo.

For more casual kicks I like Skechers and for athletic shoes I wear New Balance. My favorite bags are definitely J. Jill and Coach. The vast majority of my bags are those two brands.

I also like Stone Mountain, Tignanello and the Sak. I covet a Kate Spade bag and one from Tod, but I absolutely will not spend that kind of money on one bag, knowing how quickly I get tired of them. Mathematical Improbability You can never have too many shoes or handbags, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. These are two of my biggest weaknesses and I give in to it as often as my budget will permit. For shoes I have to say that Born is the most comfortable and best looking shoe for casual wear.

For handbags it has to be leather which makes for more expensive purchases, but they look the best and wear the longest. Fossil is one of my favorites for casual and dressy use. I bought a pair of Mia thong sandals last year on Amazon and they are the best; also have gotten more compliments than others I've agonized over buying in a brick and mortar store.

SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES! For me, shoes are the best...they can make you feel taller, sportier, hipper, comfyer (okay, I just made that word up) etc. Don't get me wrong, handbags have thier excellent points, too! But, I prefer to put my money on good shoes as my feet are important to me!

. Handbags change each season, and the hot "status bag" comes and goes, but shoes, my solemates (cheap pun), last forever (assuming they're good shoes). Dansko's, Cole-Haan's, Brighton, Coach, Born, Clarks (artisan only, I'm not a granny), Donald J.

Pliner, Weitzman, oh how a girl can dream..... Alas, I don't spend a HUGE amount on shoes, I would estimate at an average of $100 per pair, I buy about a couple pairs every three months...so about $800 per year. Wow, never thought of it that way. My most expensive handbag is Michael Kors, a nice big leather satchel bag, it retailed for about $400 but I bought it second hand for $150.

Deal! I love Michael Kors bags, and some Coach bags, but I can't bring myself to pay $300 or more for a cheap plastic bag and a label. If you have an extra $450 burning a hole in your pocket, please send these shoes my way....they'reTaryn Rose and would be especially cute on my feet this summer... Definitely Handbags! I have a whole drawer stuffed full of purses! Don't get me wrong, I love shoes, it just hard to find a pair that I like and that is comfortable.

I am always on the lookout though for another purse. I like all different kinds, Kipling, Roxy, Fossil, GUESS, etc. The brand really doesn't matter to me, I mostly look at style and whether or not my things will fit well.Www.ebags.Com is a great site if you like handbags.

Handbags definately....i'm addicted to the G series of Cole Haan, and I think I own four or five of them. As bag crazes go, it's not too bad.... I buy them all on Ebay. Gianni Bini, at Dillards, is very nice too; not too formal and not too pricey..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
