If you want to change your control panel settings for Sleep Mode, then go to: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Change when computer goes to sleep There you can edit the time it takes for your computer to switch to Sleep Mode when being idle for that period of time. Note that you can set "Never" so your computer never goes to sleep, you will have to turn it off manually. One more thing worth mentioning is that you don't have to actually press Power Button to wake up computer from Sleep Mode.
It only requires you to press any button.
