Last year I had knee surgery. Recently my boss wanted to know if my knee ever prevented me from doing my job. This was totally out of the blue.

Any thoughts on why my boss would ask about my knee? I told him my knee had not prevented me from doing my job. I have a great work record with no URL1 makes me wonder if there are any other motives here.

Bosses start building up a file that when your job ends they have reasons for not paying the first three weeks of unemployment that it is their responsibility. Maybe your boss wants to know what changed in you before and after surgery and if he has enough reasons to replace you or he might be needing a knee surgery himself and wants to know how it will affect him.

I would keep mum about any negative surgery comments.

I know it would be scary. I had MS and I told one person and then everyone knew that day and they offered me the elevator....and kept looking at me funny to see if I was limping....which I was not....Just talk positive and smile. Pray to God for protection and peace/harmony.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
