LEGAL QUESTION-restraining order?

Not a good situation. Your sister has on business having any kids at all. Sadly, the law favors her to the point that they can take th child and give her back to her mother.

I had a bad situation with the ex-husband of a girlfriend. Stalking, threats, false CPS claims, etc. The big problem was that the guy was a cop. Anyway, I did get some great advice from a lawyer the you should follow.

1. In many states you can record phone calls so long as one person on the line knows the call is being recorded. You do not know what the law is in your state, (and you don't want to know just yet) your not a lawyer.

So starting right now you record all phone conversation with the crazy girlfriend. NEVER argue with her on the phone, NEVER curse her or call her names. DO NOT try to argue with her.

Remember, one day a judge might just be listening to this. He will know that YOU know the call is being recorded and he will be looking for you to do some wrong...SO DON'T DO IT! 2.

You and your family DO NOT CALL HER unless it is an emergency or some other reason where you have to call her. 3. Starting TODAY you keep a journal.

Evey day you make an entry that says what happened with the child and the mother. Even if nothing happens you make an entry saying that nothing happens. 4.

Start gathering evidance of her drug abuse, bipolar disorder and anything else that makes her look bad. Make no big deal about it, just quietly do it. 5.

DO NOT STOP doing any of this until you have full custody and her rights have been totally severed. Records and information is a powerful thing! Even recrding that are not admissable in court can go a long way towards getting the law on your side.

When I was having my own trouble I took recordings to CPS after I found that he had filed a complain about me. After listening to the recordings they dismissed the complaint. He filed another CPS complain.

Then he called his ex and bragged about it and made more threats. I then took this report to CPS before that had time to do anything about the complain. CPS then filed with the DA due to his filling a flase police report.

My life got a lot quiter after that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
