The Holy Family had gone to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover. Passover commemorates an event from the Exodus--when the Angel of Death "passed over" the houses of the Hebrews, whose lintels had been spread with the blood of the lamb. It was the tenth and final plague visited upon Egypt because of the hardheaded Pharaoh, who refused to let the chosen people go.So the first-born of each Egyptian house was struck down by the Angel of Death, who passed over the houses of the chosen people.

Mary the sister of Lazarus. St. John 12: 1-3 .
Depends on which Gospel you read According to Luke Ch. 7, it was a woman of the city who was a sinner. Because this story of the woman who was a sinner is so close to the story of Mary Magdalene at the beginning of ch.
8 many people think that it was Mary Magdalene who was pouring nard on Jesus feet, washing with her tears and wiping away with her hair. But if you read the story it appears that these are two separate people. If you read the gospel of John you read in 11:2 that is was Mary of Bethany (sister of Lazarus and Martha) who anointed Jesus feet and wiped them with her hair.In John 12:3 you read about Mary doing this and Judas becoming angry because she "wasted" the perfume which could have been sold to feed the poor.

Lets see! How many sheep were in the manger with baby Jesus in the Bible? Asked by LSW 47 months ago Similar questions: LeShay's Christian Bible Society > Religion & Spirituality.
1 Just the Lamb of God no others would be able to fit .
I say zero A manger is a feeding trough. The sheep or other barnyard beasties that used it previously used it to eat not lay in it. When Mary and Joseph lay Jesus in there as a babe he was the only one in the manager.
Sources: My brain .
The bible doesn't say anything about any sheep or lambs being in the stable. A manger is for the animals to eat out of, and is usually arranged so that the animals can't get into it- probably why Mary put the baby there, so as to be safe. Only Luke mentions the birth, and then only a couple of verses (Luke 2:6-7) so all the "nativity scene" speculation is only just that..
No idea It says nothing of sheep in the manger and only mentions the manger itself in the book of Luke. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
