Good question. The answer is that the claim is invalid. The employer will hire whatever person is willing to work for that amount of money and can make sandwiches to the employer’s satisfaction, young or old.

You're missing the point. Certain JOBS are not worth $9/hour and those tend to be the sort that entry-level workers are prone to take. Raising the minimum wage essentially equals forbidding work below a certain value-level.

It therefore RAISES THE BAR for ENTRY-level work and eliminates whole categories of potential employment. That's why you've heard the metaphor "cutting the bottom rung off from the ladder.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
