Why should all workers pay for public workers' pensions. Are liberals not for workers, just union workers?

I think the union workers must learn how to bargain with limited wages to the reasonable salary levels. My personal opinion that the North America unionized workers are basically overpaid in comparison to the private sector unions worldwide. Only the Hong Kong civil servants (they formed an alliance or so called union of the public services of Hong Kong) are overpaid about 20-200% more than the local unionized workers for doing the same work and at least equivalent to m160-600% of the China civil servants counterpart with the identical nature of work.

Why GM needs Uncle Sam to bailout by using billions of taxed US dollars? It is estimated the total union worker for GM is getting US $ 75 dollars per hour to cover the highest hourly rate, liberal pension funds, medical and social benefits. Hong Kong is pending the pass of bill of minimum wage of HK $ 28/h (US $1 exchanges HK$ 7.8) and probably on the coming next MAY in 2011.

I persoally think that Hong Kong civil servants need a wage cut from 6% and up to 60% of those extra high paid officials. I think we should promote for the Hong Kong unions in the private sector but definitely not for North America unions.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
