Your outer LinearLayout has an orientation of horizontal, this means that the second LinearLayout should be being displayed to the right of the other one, not below it. Try changing the orientation to vertical.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
