Unless she had a slab of bacon under her nails, her touching the bread wouldn't have flavored it in anyway. Is it gross for her to not wash her hands before touching food? Yes, but don't pretend that the tiny amount of bacon grease that would have possibly gotten on your bread would have changed the flavor.
Did she wipe the bread on her face or elbow? If not, why were you concerned about the sauce? Yes it was gross for her to handle food without washing up, but you didn't have to be a brat about it.
I bet your tone was more the problem than the words you said. Next time let her serve you, wait for her to leave the room, then grab some bread yourself if you're uncomfortable or just ask her nicely "could you maybe wash up before you handle my food please?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
