Looking for a movie that aired on the Disney Channel back in the 80s?

Looking for a movie that aired on the Disney Channel back in the 80s. I don't know the name or who was in it, but I do know the plot. It was about a guy and his son who was near a semi-truck with a special kind of gas that blew up on them.

The fumes they inhaled actually healed their body, and everytime they had a cut, or later in the movie a snake bite, their wounds instantly healed in like two seconds. Because they had this special gas in their immune system, they were being targeted and had to go on the run. It doesn't help, though appreciated. I am not sure if it originated on the Disney Channel, only that it showed the movie at one time. The movie may have been filed in the early 90s (no later than '93), but it seems it had the 80s video quality, (if you can understand that).
