I remember this game; I have the old 5 1/2 inch floppies of the Computers|PC game somewhere. A lot of fun, but ridiculously hard. I did happen to come across this World Wide Web|web page, which has information on running an emulated Mac version: metaltheater.com/Articles/DarkCastle/ It has instructions for setting up the emulator, where to find them, how it works, and a link to one of a few sites that offer a download for the game (note, however, that even if it's abandonware, which it probably is, since I can't find anywhere stating it's now a Freeware|freeware game, but nobody is selling it, that doesn't make downloading it legal, so, I can't really recommend it.) Looking in the links, however, there is one which mentions the current distributor, but they no longer offer it.
Unless you have the actual discs yourself, you probably won't be able to actually get your hand on a copy. However, as a side note, there's also a newer game, made in the same vein, called Return to Dark Castle, here: superhappyfunfun.com/games/gam_returntod... It's for the Mac OS X|Mac OS, and it is for sale there. There's also a demo you can try out to see if you like it or not.
Not the original version, but it lists that the original levels are redone and included in this version of the game. Hope that helps.
Found several copies on both eBay and Amazon (links below), but not for the Apple|Mac. Also found a page about running in an emulator, which would be useful if you run with Windows emulator on your Mac. Hope this helps!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
