Mahalo Barnraising #1 is completely unfair! Why? Because @robbrown is a cyborg!
How else can you explain his meticulous attention to detail and inhuman ability to compile statistical data? I am completely convinced that Mahalo has now been infiltrated by the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Security_... Canadian Security Intelligence Service in an attempt by the Canadian government to gain control of the most valuable knowledge resource on the internet. It's quite an ingenious plan if you think about it.
The CSIS posts an avatar of a mild mannered computer enthusiast, and then using their organic information processing collective, places thousands of great answers to unsuspecting Mahalo questioners. And along comes their chance to dominate Mahalo pages as well through the barn raising contest. Then, when people like me start catching on, "he" posts a video of his http://www.mahalo.com/answers/mahalo-answers-community/after-lon-posted-the-latest-results-of-the-barn-raising-contest-a-few-people-have-asked-me-how-ive-been-creating-the-pages "daughter" playfully posting the aforementioned pages.
We can't be fooled! Stop this blatant attempt at Canadian world domination now!
There is great people here who care so much not to many sites like this one I am going to help you guys grow here I love this place. We all as a team are what matters in all we do here. May this site grow and become big so all of the people out there will find what thay are looking for evey day.
It seems as if participation in the contest is VERY minimal. Perhaps if there was a different topic besides websites everytime, the contest would be booming with participants. But right now, it might as well stay as it is.
Rob has such a huge lead over others that he will probably maintain that lead or even widen the gap! I am curious as to how long it takes them to get the info, but at the same time, I know that I won't make the top 3 at this point, between my job, friends, sleep, meals, and television : ).
Wow! That's great! How many pages do @Demanda and @Jdnyc have completed, Lon?
I'm super pleased with the results of BR01 (Barn Raising #1)! Once we get this one done we HAVE TO do BR02 in a category that folks can really sink their teeth into! Movies!?!?
Actors?!?! If we got 250 done in this contest, I wonder if we could do 400 in the next one?!?!?! The best part of this project is that we now have a base of editors who can build great pages and help other users.
This is the start of something VERY big. I'm hoping that the folks in BR01 claim the pages they built and they make another M$25 to M$100 over the next year or two!
It looks like it will be a busy Sunday night!
As you might have seen I have only completed one task, but it's was a huge step for me. It was my first one, and I am glad to say that it was accepted. I think I will try to go for first or at least 3rd place, in the next contest.
I have read many pages created and I really liked some.

I know how frustrating it is when you are in a mood to do some more, the system says your limit is reached. The Mahalo editors are slow on reviewing tasks because they are busy.. I experience the same thing. By evening, it will say my limit is reached.
Then I do contact the staff and they will respond by morning, they checked, my account shows I was already claimed another task....Ya I did, because it is a new day and they reviewed some tasks or I have abandoned some other tasks to make room for the new one on Barn raising.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
