Our mailbox is located on a Town right of way The snow plow came by a took out one of our neighbor's mailboxes and bent ours Who is responsible for repairing them?

The town is not responsible for any damages to your mailbox. Pursuant to Hwy Law 319, no resident has the right to place a mailbox in the town's right of way. If they do, they do so at their own risk.

The same goes for fences, light posts and other appurtenances. It is the duty of the Town to remove snow from the road. Items placed in the ROW can impede the Town for doing so.

The Town has the right to request the removal of same.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
