Ingredients:1 PK of white casing bratwurst1 BG of french friesKetchupCurry powderPaprikaOlive oilBrotchen (or kaiser roll)Slowly grill or pan fry the brats so that it's fully cooked and the outside of the casing toasted. Time the baking of he fries to coincide with cooking of the brats so they finish around the same time. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
Spread the bag of french fries on a baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle olive oil on them, then lightly dust with paprika. Place in the oven for aproximately 10-15 minutes.
You can buy the curry sauce online at the German Deli:URL1 make it yourself. In a small sauce pan, add a cup of ketchup and 1/3 cup of water. Add a tablespoon of curry powder.
Slowly simmer. Add water and ketchup to adjust consistency, but you want it to be able to pour out of pan. Add curry to your taste.
Once everything is close to cooked, place brotchen (or kaiser roll) in oven for about 3 minutes. Serve the bread with food. Place bratwurst on plate with pomme fritz (fries).
Pour sauce over the food. This dish is normally served with German beer, my favorite being Hefe-Weissen. Then savor your creation with good friends and enjoy.
