Many years ago, I returned my blind date to her home where I found her. Was I wrong? She wouldn't talk, during a "swing" she would just keep going, during a slow dance she would hang like she was dead, and when I invited her to go with the group to get a milk shake during the intermission in my fancy car she said, "I don't care."

So I dropped her off at her home and when I returned to the dance, after a milk shake, she had returned and "scorched the earth. " Every girl at the dance treated me as invisible, I couldn't get a dance, and the next Monday at school, even the female teachers couldn't see me. So I joined the Navy to see the world.

Years later, things all turned out fine, but I still wonder, "How much abuse should a guy have to put up with? " Asked by Coconut_Guy 42 months ago Similar questions: years ago returned blind date home found wrong Entertainment.

I am not necessarily going to say you were wrong, but I do not think you used your best judgment. When you date someone, you should be dating them to see if you get along well, if you like the same things...how she carries on conversations....things like that ... This was your first date...maybe she was not feeling well, maybe she was shy or maybe she did not like loud music, but she came back so that must not be the case. I have to believe that it really hurt her feelings for you to just take her back where you found her...had it been me, no I would not have gone back to the dance and put you down, so she was wrong in that case.

You are older now, I am sure you would do things differently. Life is a learning experience...there are lots of things I did and did not do when I was young that I either would or would not do now. Sources: my opinion .

NO, you're right... Well, That girl behaves really improperly, if you are on a date you are supposed to be talking and if you are in the dance floor you are supposed to dance,,right......And saying "I don't care was very rude for a date too. I am a girl and I think If I am on a date I should behave myself properly and be nice and proper. People has to be themselves and be real but not be rude..

3 In my younger days, I ended two dates midway. The first turned out to be a religious "crackpot" who, in the middle of the date (and out of the blue), started to talk the bible and get ANGRY with me about how I wasn't doing something I should have been doing in relation to God. The second was a woman who said something I really didn't like and I remember how, after the movie I said "Well, we could go on to dinner but you gotta know that I'm gonna be thinking "When will this be over" throughout the whole thing, or we could go home.

CALIDEE_MOO! Said: 4 no one has to put up with any abuse.... date or otherwise... pardon my french... I too would have dumped her sorry butt where I found her... I don't blame you.. glad you found happiness with your wife...

Dating is about two people coming together to see whether they are compatible and then enjoying each other's company. Dating should always be fun and unforgettable since you are meeting either strange person or an old acquaintance. When you are meeting someone for a date, observe your surroundings.

Try not to act pretentious or flashy on the first date. Be gentleman enough. If your date partner is lousy don't make her feel it just treat her the way it should be.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
