Microsoft/Windows - Should Microsoft offer a $100 upgrade coupon for Windows 7 for Windows Vista Ultimate owners?

We all paid an additional $100 for the Ultimate version, but I sure haven't received $100 worth of gee-wiz options to make it the 'ultimate'. Other then language upgrades many months ago, Ultimate owners have received nothing at all from Microsoft. It's as if they are saying, "if you ignore them, they will go away".

The Ultimate version of Vista was hailed as the end-all Operating system, but other then the pretty active wallpaper, it actually offers nothing.(bitLocker doesn't count)What is your take on this? Although I was lucky enough to acquire my copy of Vista Ultimate free (legally), I definitely think there should be a hefty upgrade bonus (discount) for people upgrading to Windows 7. Given that Vista has turned out to be Windows ME redux, it's only fair that we shouldn't have to pay full price for the update. Like you also said, the "ultimate" extras were pretty much a joke.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
