Missing/unlisted soils: "Rusle.txt contains the soils SANDY CLAY and SANDY CLAY LOAM but these do not show up in the soils selection. . . Am I missing a step?

Those string pairs in rusle. Txt are used to display choices for the soil *texture* -- they are only coincidentally related to the user-selectable name of a *complete* soil (which includes texture, OM, hydrology, description, etc.). Only a few sample soils are currently included with the program, so you didn't find the ones you needed.

To create a sandy clay or sandy clay loam soil, open any of the other soils, such as default or silt. Find the texture parameter and change it to the desired texture, or, for more precision, enter the actual sand/silt/clay fractions. Override the values of any other parameters for which you have better data.

Use File/Save as... to save it with a descriptive name. The soil should then be available for reuse elsewhere. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
