Mongo ids leads to scary URLs?

Define a friendly unique field (like a slug) on your collection, index it, on your model, define to_param to return it.

You can create a composite key in mongoid to replace the default id using the key macro.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
