First this verse about unbelievers not Jews or Christians "strike them above the necks, smite their finger tips"8:12 This verse is about Badr war,At badr unbelievers fought muslim Do you expect god says:Kill them by injection or electric while the war is running it means kill them at war.As you know at Badr war muslim was not strong and unbelievers attacked muslim it's not about All unbelievers. "when allah promised to grant you one of the two parties (at badr), and you wished for the one that was not strong. Allah wanted to establish the truth by his words"8:7 God wanted to show muslim those unbelievers are lieing and if you are not strong they will attack you.

"it was not you who killed them, but allah slew them"8:17 God says you were not strong so I killed them not you. "if you desist,it will be better for you. If you resume we will return,and even if your forces are numerous,they shall not help you at all.

And allah is with the believers"8:19 God says to them after War:If you desist I will not fight you but If you resume we will return. There is like this in 47:4 And why don't you read your books? I don't know why do you know our religion better than your religion?
