Multi-verses: what are these, including our universe, expanding or sitting in?

I have read all of Stephen Hawkings books and sadly, I still have no concept of the multi-verse theory. String (M) Theory says that the entire universe may be on a single membrane or plane that is stretched. I suppose this would constitute the fabric of space-time as proposed by Einstein.

The other "verses" would then be other membranes and it is believed that when they impact each other a Big Bang could occur and create another one. At least, that's how I understand it. As for what container this is all happening in...I have no idea.It brings us back to the question of "what is nothing?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
