Start by putting the baby cereal in the bottle - a tablespoon, to start. You are going to have to make the nipple hole a little bigger. That will get him used to a different taste.

Then, in about a week, try the spoon again - and maybe he will reconize the taste and eat off the spoon. Don't worry too much about this. Babies will eat when they are ready to eat.

Oh well. You're the mom, you're the one in charge, and it goes your way, not his. Good advice here on how to get him started, but get him started.

My pediatrician says babies do just fine on formula or breastmilk until 9 months of age and feeding for the 6 - 9 month babies is purely to practice, so don't worry! I would say go slowly and start with pureed banana or sweet potatoes. My son didn't like the cereal at all, but he loved jars of carrots, sweet potatoes and bananas pureed in the blender.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
