Use a off-the-shelf product with lye in it. Question: My bathroom sink drains very slowly. What's the best way to unclog it?
Answer: Use a off-the-shelf product with lye in it. There are lots of these kinds of products. Red Devil and Draino are a couple that I've used in the past.In general, I've found that the crystals work a lot better than the liquids (ie Liquid Plumr).
The crystals/powders are less expensive as well. Lye is toxic stuff, so be careful when using it. Such formulas dissolve hair, grease, soap, and dirt and drain products will help with the long-term care of your sink.
If the sink continues to drain slowly, then use a hand-held plunger and try to use suction to clear the clogs. Sometimes this helps. As a last resort, there's always the option of calling the plumber. These guys are really expensive, but they can run the snake through the pipes and clear any real clogs.
In terms of promoting good drainage in the future, you can pour a little baking soda or vinegar in the sink. Also, a wire mesh filter helps to capture debris which prevents clogs in the future. I hope this helps.

Slow Drain How to Unclog a Slow Running Bathroom Sink Drain This simple method of unclogging a drain can save you time and money, and best of all, it can be done by virtually anyone. No skills necessary. When a bathroom sink is running slow it usually isn’t the trap that’s the problem; it’s the stopper mechanism that’s to blame.
Slow drains usually don’t happen suddenly; they slow over time. Instead of buying that industrial-strength clog-clearing liquid, try this (free) method. Steps Gather your tools.
Place a bucket under the trap (aka "P" or "S" trap, or even a "goose neck"). Remove the trap, ensuring that the bucket you placed under there is catching the water. Look in front of you.
There are two pipes, a vertical one and a horizontal one. It's the vertical pipe connected directly to the underside of the sink that you'll be working with. Place the nozzle of the shop vac straight down over the stopper of the sink, creating as much of a seal as possible.
Turn on the shop vac. Hold the nozzle in place while reaching underneath the sink to seal the bottom of the vertical pipe with the palm of your hand. This will create a more powerful suction for the shop vac.
Move your hand just enough to let a little air in. Repeat a couple of times. This will keep creating suction power, and will be more effective in loosening the buildup under the stopper.
Pull out the material which is now coming out from around the stopper. This should be after a minute or so and you may have to play around a bit more to get all the gunk out. Re-connect the trap.
Check the washers, if any, for any damage when putting the trap back on. Replacing the damaged washers now may save you a leak later on. Screw the nuts that hold the drain in place, first hand tight, and then turned about a quarter turn with the wrench or channel locks.
Tips Remember to disconnect the trap, otherwise you won’t get enough suction to do the job. Warnings Do not over-tighten the nuts. Drain cleaners contain harsh, harmful chemicals that could damage you and/or your pipes.
Therefore, always try to employ mechanical measures whenever possible. Things You'll Need A small bucket to catch standing water. A pipe wrench or large channel locks.

With hot boiling water. Try boiling some water and then dumping it down the sink. It might help.
But if it is galvanized pipe in an old house, it needs to be rootered every 2 years or so because it bubbles up inside and catches things.
Draino--foaming pipe snake. I had the worlds worst clog in my shower--because I have a ton of hair and it is long, and it will shed occasionally and would make a bad clog after a few months. So I used that and it only took like 10 minutes to clear..
I had the same problem with my shower. I snaked it several times, and now trying enzimes Seems to work but are slow acting.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
