My boyfriend won't shave his stupid beard and I've tried everything!?

I'm in the same situation, although I already knew going to gay-related things doesn't usually work. I mean straight people have a hard time finding partners and everywhere they go is an opportunity, so what would make being us so much easier? Just because there's a place where gays go doesn't mean you'll have anything in common with them.

Usually you'll just find desperate guys who took the same advice as you which is why there's a lot of senior citizens at the gay center. I don't know what to tell you because, like I said, I'm in the same situation. I guess all you have to do is be yourself and get out often and hopefully they'll fall "in your lap!"

P.S. Don't be desperate, that's a turn off. The more you don't expect things to happen is when they usually happen. :).

Any time I want a boyfriend I go to an AA meeting. We have GBLT meetings too in AA.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
