You might consider having the vet prescribe rimadyl, it makes a huge difference in their quality of life-- they can often move around like new again for a few more years.

She's actually already on rimadyl & glucosamine & she gets regular adequine shots. She also tore her ACL & meniscus last year so she has a titanium plate in her leg. She did great after the surgery but now the main problem is in her elbows.

Looks like 18 is about the oldest, at least from my search on GOOGLE but their average lifespan is 8-12 years.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
