2 . . .
Even then, the policeman might deny it--saying that you "misunderstood". In any event, get your car out of impound ASAP! In my area, they charge you about $200 for every day your car remains in the impound lot.
3 If a policeman told you to park in a direct area that has a sign.. No parking or No standing. The sign is visible than you should have told the policeman, that you didn't want to get a ticket. I would march down to the police station and demand to speak to the chief.
You can describe the officer, if you do not have his badge number. I never heard of anyone having their vehicle towed, due to the negligence of an officer. This must've been on a private lot, because I don't think the officer would ignore a complaint being dispatched of a vehicle being in a tow zone, unless you left the vehicle for more than 24 hrs and someone called it in later on.
Explain the entire situation.. please! .
4 Yes, they charge by the day and plus the hook up fees and towing charge that occurred.
You, however, are still legally repsonsible for the amount of the car loan you took out - in full, and if you do not pay it, there will be collection agencies after you. The financial company will garnish your paycheck to get their money, and your credit is ruined. You will never get another loan for anything.
You should have called the financial company the very first time you could not make a payment, and tried to work out something. It's too late, now. Also, it is not the finance companies responsibility to go and get the truck out of the impound.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
