11 year old these days feel so pressurized to fit in. I'm in my last year of sixth form, and I see little year 7 girls all the time wearing make up and short skirts. Sadly, when your younger you just want to be older, and being in high school where you're surrounded by tarty 14-16 year old girls doesn't help.
Best thing you can do is reassure her she's beautiful and doesn't need makeup. Mascara and lipgloss isn't too bad, but when she wants to start piling on the foundation then you have to worry. As for not allowed to kiss boys.. lets be honest.. the majority of girls have kissed a guy by the time they're 12.
Though not allowed on her own with boys in her room is fair enough. As for knowing all about sex, they talk to you about it in school in Year 7/8 anyway. Horror movies - EVERY pre-teen girl has watched horror movies.
Believe me if my mother knew what horror films I used to watch she'd be appauled. More guy friends than girls - Depends on what they're like. Shane Dawson - Don't panic.
He's just like a comedian for Youtube, thousands of 11+ kids watch him. I think you just need to chill really. Reassure her she's beautiful, keep an eye on her.
I'm sure she'll be fine. :).
1. No, she's 11, if she has a cellphone at all it should be an older edition phone, or else you'll end up having to continuosly buy her new phones as she breaks them. 2.
No 3. Moniter what she's doing and set up parental locks on chat sites and porn. 4.
Yes. 5. Yes.
6. They'll find a way to do the things you don't want then to do. 7.
Yes, as long as she also knows the consequences. 8. Yes.
9. Yes. 10.
Depends on the length, and the neighbourhood. 11. Yes.
12. No, a couple hours is fine, but over 5 hours is a little neglectful. 13.
Yes. 14. No, he is hilarious, but some of the things he says are not appropriate.
15. Yes 16. Yes 17.
Depends on the length, if they're too short, I wouldnt allow it. If its shorter then her wrists when she puts her arms straight down, then I wouldnt let my daughter wear it. 18.
Yes 19. Yes 20. Should be fine.
These are just my opinions as a parent.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
