My credit card account is closed by the credit grantor on the credit report? Do I continue to pay the remain balance?

Eventhough the credit report doesnot show I still owe this balance. If I stop make payment, does the creditor will sue me? Why the creditor did not let me know the account has closed?

4 Sometimes it takes a while for something like this to appear on your credit report. But as Marshall said, if you stop paying, they'll sick a collection company after you. Just because they closed your account doesn't mean they forgave the debt.

5 Yep what they said. Frequently credit card companies close accounts for one reason or another ...maybe you went over your limit, maybe you were late a few times, whatever...that just means that you cannot get any further credit from the company, but the balance is still owed and if you do not pay it, they will get a judgment against you and at that time they can garnish bank accounts or your wages ...and if you are buying a home, they can put a lien against your real property ...people get confused about that ...even if they charged off your debt, it is still owed.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
