She competes in the sport of eventing which is dressage, stadium jumping and cross country. She needs things explained in a very straight forward manner. She would especially like to improve her dressage scores.

I need book suggestions for her. Asked by newbie1626310 61 months ago Similar Questions: daughter 16 learning disabilities hates read excellent equestrian book Recent Questions About: daughter 16 learning disabilities hates read excellent equestrian book Sports & Recreation.

I would think the condensed feel and shorter segments of magazines would be good. I haven't had a horse for years but I still have a couple subscriptions, just to look at the pictures ;) Hunter and Sports Horse is about dressage, jumping and related disciplines hunterandsporthorsemag.com/association.htm It gives a lot of good tips and current news.. Horse Illustrated is a good magazine too. It's less technical, lots of great pictures, and they profile a different (usually exotic) breed every month.

This month it's Andalusians and Lusitanians, last month it was a very limited wild pony breed. It's not specifically any disciple, more general horse care and info, but I really enjoy it. horsechannel.com/horse-magazines/horse-i... There's always a pull out poster of the featured breed too.

Perhaps she can better process the information if she hears it instead of having to decode as she reads. Listening to these tapes has given her the confidence and focus she was needing. Highly recommended for equestrians, but for everyone. Look to Ms.

King's other series of CDs on Amazon. Thanks! Also, if you can't find suitable audiobooks, you can always buy the book and have it read by a professional (I know there are people who do this for people with visual impairments for a small fee).
