What you are describing sounds like it could be a mammary tumor. This is the most common tumor in dogs (female dogs. It is much more rare in males).
I had a dog that developed a mammary tumor when she was 11 years old. Unfortunately, it turned out the be malignant and even with surgery she died. Not all mammary tumors are malignant, but the only way to know for sure is to take your dog to the vet.
I certainly hope things turn out okay for you and your dog.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
