Pilot out Could be a couple reasons. Pilot out - defective fan relay - fan switch in manual .

1 Well, they can be two different units, so the water heater can be working but not the HVAC heater. Either that or you have the thermostat turned way down.

If so that may have gone out. Also, does your furnace have a "fan" setting? That will only blow air through it and not activate the heat.

That would be a setting on the thermostat...

3 The thermostat is up. But I also switched it to "off" and it's still blowing cold air. Could just be the thermostat I guess?

NanoNano replied to post #3: 4 Yeah, many thermostats have three settings aside from the temperature, on/off and "fan"...If you're curious if its just that, go to wherever your furnace is and open the door to the control panel and look for a flame - there should be a little window to look in to where the gas ignites, or just feel it to see if its warm... That could give you a clue as to whether its actually working.

Why is my hot water from the shower is slower from the cold.

I want to replace a oil furnace with a gas furnace for forced hot water heat. Where do I start?

Our baseboard hot water heat is great but since we had a new oil fired furance put in, it traps air which causes noise.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
