My goldfish has something white sticking out of his back and the area surrounding it is red. he look?

This white sticking on your fish skin is a parasite. This parasite will cause irritating to your fish gill and finally will weaken or losing her apetite to eat. So you can use meteline blue solution or malicite green but make sure use a small amount of malicite green because this is to strong solution.

But I usually use meteline blue is already enough to get rid of this parasite and I use to applied 1 table spoon per 2cubic feet of water. Then after 5days replace your aquarium water and again applied meteline blue. Do this for 5 times.

Sounds like it could be ick - go to your local pet store and tell the people there and they can give you something that might help.

This sounds like an anchor worm, which can easily be treated by actually physically removing the worm itself with a pair of tweezers (make sure to handle the fish carefully with wet hands that do not have any kind of lotion or soap residue on them) and then treat the fish with antibiotics and an aloe-containing product such as Stress-Cote to help repair any damage that may have been sustained during handling.

I think it is anchor worm, a nasty parasite. I would take it to an expert first like at a petstore or try to remove it wearing gloves. The fish will need medication afterwards.

Take it to a pet store such as Petsmart or anyother pet stores that have fish, and ask a person that works there. He/she should be able to help you and give you the right things for your fish.....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
