My husband wants to join the military, considering the Army & Airforce. How do you choose?

I was in the Air Force and am now in the Army so I know a little about both. The Air Force treats you a lot better and in my opinion is better for that reason. The Army is tough and it will make you tough.

As a soldier, regardless of your job you will be a soldier first which means you can and will do any job they need you to do. In the Air force you can look forward to 6 month deployments instead of a year. Also, There are much prettier women in the Air Force lol.

Really it all depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it.

Airforce. The deployments won't be as long and I heard they don't have an infantry. Plus they have the highest standards and the best ammenidies.

My husband was navy and did 5 years. And I know a few ppl in the air force and they love it. My father in law retired out of the airforce.

So I think you would be more comfortable in the airforce but I would research them first and then the army so you can make an informed decision. And the af has their own community college that you're automatically enrolled in.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
