Thank you. I did call Kindle and they were do helpful. I bought it at Best Buy, and they were not at all helpful.

Thanks. I actually took it back to Best Buy where I originally purchased it. They told me there is no warranty on the screen and since I didn't purchase their store warranty, I was SOL.

Needless to say unwashed upset because it wad only two months old and I did nothing to cause this. I went to my car and called Kindle support. They immediately promised to send me a replacement.

Great news! Thanks for the update I'm shocked at Best Buy for saying no warranty on the screen, HOW do they know it is a problem with the screen and not the logic/video board? IMO BB screwed up.

I agree. I went back in the store and advised them on my result after speaking with Kindle support. I think they were pissed because I didn't originally purchase their extra warranty.

They actually told me there wad nothing I could do. So I advised them to keep Kindle's support number handy so they can refer others. They said that quite a few people have tried to return Kindles with the same problem.

The screen sounds broken, and you will need to call Kindle support for help. Hopefully your device is still under warranty.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
