Is it possible for me to purchase from Kindle store using PC then transfer to kindle I'm from the Philippines and I would like to purchase a Kindle. Two questions:1) Can I access the kindle wireless network outside the US and make wireless purchases from the Kindle store?2) Or in the alternative, can I make purchases from the kindle store using a PC then just transfer the kindle media to my Kindle using a USB cable? If this is not possible then I guess I would just settle for the Sony Reader.

Kindle Help Ok, to start off, you can't access the kindle wireless from outside the United States. It will simply not work. You can only purchase content and use your PC to download your content, if you have a US billing address and a US bank issued credit card.
