You have a neighbor problem, not a cat problem. You have a neighbor problem, not a cat problem. Once, twice... maybe.

But sending a negihbor's collard cat to the pound... that is just being an ass. With people like that it would not help if you painted your cat green, and hanged posters all around town of it saying "This cat lives at! This cat is not a stray!

This cat if found should be returned to its owner! ". People like that would make sure Schrodinger's cat is dead.( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrodinger%27s_cat )ONLY thing you can do is keep your cat away from them.

Try using some form of cat repellent on your border with the cat-trapping neighbor. ezinearticles.com/?Cat-Repellent-or-How-to-Keep-Cats-Out-of-Your-Garden&id=6554http://landscaping.about.com/od/pestcontrol/a/cat_repellents.htmhttp://www.odordestroyer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=CatRepellentsBut the only way to be sure is to keep the cat inside. Since he/she keeps trapping and sending the cat to the pound, I guess talking with them won't do.

Talking with people at the pound might help, so they will keep your cat for you, but it probably won't be long before your neighbor decides that it is time to get rid of the cat once and for all. Sources: Personal opinion .

You think those are bad, get this. We moved into a cul-de-sac in Jacksonville NC 5 years ago and have two cats that like to stay outside. Everyone in the neighborhood knew the cats because they liked to sun themselves on the asphalt.

Our neighbor, Jesse, caught one of the cats and took it to the pound just a couple of months ago without saying a thing to us. It was right before a hurricane so my daughter was out looking for the cat and asked the guy if he had seen her. He actually told her no and then after the hurricane, she was out calling for her and asked him again and he again told her that he didn't know.

Yesterday my wife saw an animal control cage sitting in his driveway with one of our other cats in it. When she asked him if he had taken the other cat to the pound, he just stared at her. I called animal control and found out that he did in fact turn in a cat matching her description two days before the hurricane and had reported the cat as a stray.

The only communication that we ever had with them was about 2 or 3 years earlier when his wife had said our cat was eating her cat's food. That was the same time that her cat was seen jumping out of my daughter's jeep and there was pee found in it and we had seen the cat peeing on our front porch. We never once thought about taking their cat to the pound.

Since that day, they have never complained about her or even warned that they were going to catch her and take her to the pound. Who does that? Who does that and then watches a girl looking for the cat that they took to the pound a day earlier and there was still time to save the cat and says no, they haven’t seen it?

We had to find out two months later after the cat was already destroyed.

I work at a no-kill shelter and it is horrible what people will do especially to felines. Alot of people hate cats and will set them on fire or worse to get rid of them. People have to start realizing that cats should be treated like a dog; if they go outside they should be on a leash or confined and being spayed or neutured goes without saying.

I have five cats of my own and not one ever goes outside and they become so much calmer and nicer once that hunter instinct is gone plus it saves all the song birds.

I would have a collar on the cat with a tag with your name/phone number.

2 Good luck! We had neighbors when I was a kid who would shoot all the neighborhood cats who wandered into their lawn. When my sister's cat went missing we looked for weeks.

One day we were in the backyard helping to hang the sheets on the line when my cat came tearing through the shrubs. This was closely followed by pellet shot that hit my mother in the leg. We called the cops.

Judge gave a heavy fine, I was very young so I don't know all the details, just having to talk to the judge and being all dressed up. It could have been much worse, my little brother was sitting right next to my mom, and it wasn't a "real" gun.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
