You need to contact the relevant Breed Club and ask for names of known reputable breeder-members. Most Clubs have Codes of Ethics which should rule out you contacting a BYB! Don't, out of frustration, buy from a Pet Shop because they are supplied by BYBs at best, and Puppy Farms at worst, or from an online dog/puppy sale website.
These are where BYBs advertise their stock. Secondly Christmas is NOT the time to be bringing a puppy into a home, unless the household is going to be very quiet. And no good breeder will let you have one until the festivities are over and you have the time to look after the huge needs of a young puppy coming to a new home.
Then there's the question of how old is your daughter? If she's under 5 - wait. If she's older, don't buy a puppy 'for her'.
Buy it WITH her. If she's older, or even an adult, she should be the one to pick out the puppy she'd like to have or this isn't going to work.
No, it's another scam registry that will register anything.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
