My son wants a lizard, but I don't want to feed it live food. is there a lizard that eats veg and fruit?

Each species has it's own dietary requirements. "Backyard lizard" is not a species, so nobody here can tell you what yours eats without guessing. However most small lizards eat insects, and will not eat fruit.

They also do not make good pets, especially for those that cannot identify them or feed them properly. My advice is that you release it where you found it before it dies.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
